"Kindermusik provides the sound nutrition to improve movement, listening, and expression in young children. Through activities and music making, skills for parents and children alike create inroads for the great orchestration of a family's hearts and minds." - Don Campbell World-renowned authority on the transformative power of listening and music, and author of The Mozart Effect® for Children
"When introduced appropriately, music and literature play an amazing role in the development of infants and toddlers. I'm happy that Kindermusik has extended their programs to include this time of life when brain development is most vulnerable and parents are most in need of support and direction." - Claudia Quigg, M.Ed. Founder and executive director of BabyTALK, a program dedicated to helping parents become better parents to their children

Parent Testimonials

It's not only the experts who love Kindermusik either. Parents and their children alike enjoy their experiences with Kindermusik also!
"Kindermusik has been a wonderful program for my four children. It is a great combination of music, movement, instruments exploration and socialization. Children have the opportunity to explore and learn in a fun environment with the guidance of a caring and compassionate teacher. This program has helped to foster a love of music in all my children. I also believe that it has made an impact on my children's academic success. I can not "sing" the praises of this program enough. I highly recommend Kindermusik for all children!" Laura Freed, Danville, Indiana
"My son, Tyler, began Kindermusik when he was four months old. After a year of classes, I was amazed to see what a confident and curious boy he had become. In new situations he is always one of the first kids to start exploring the room. I can't wait to see what benefits the next six years of Kindermusik classes will bring to our family." Laura Cochran, Plainfield, Indiana
"We just wanted to share with you what an exceptional time Herschel had in his first Imagine That class this past spring semester. We have seen a definite maturity in Herschels understanding of what is being taught. He talks about his class often, even on non-Kindermusik days, and he is much more apt to play at home with something that he learned in Kindermusik. The talents of Amy Hunter and the Cities curriculum enabled Herschel to connect to this class." Ellen Nathan, Avon, Indiana
"You do so much to encourage these youngsters in their love of music as well as developing language and movement. Anna enjoyed her first day of Summer Camp. The stations were great!...so well organized and age appropriate. We thank you so much for all that you have done for Anna....she loves music and is continually singing or keeping time to the beat!" Dr. Patricia Hughes (Dr. of Education Administration) , Lebanon, Indiana
"Two updates on the impact Xander is making as a result of Kindermusik. His love for music has grown so much and his balance and rhythm has improved. There was a time when swinging in the blanket seemed like a torture device but as of several sessions ago Xander asked to be swung and did extremely well. He also asked to do it again and was great again. This is a HUGE barrier that he has overcome. This was first introduced in the class he attended in Florida and now he has successfully completed that task in the Indiana Kindermusik class. This is such a testimony on how consistency i n the program really does work.
Xander and I are also made to feel very comfortable in the classes by reminders spoken out loud to the class that moving around is appropriate and approaching the child from where they are at. They are not forced to do an activity but encouraged. Xander has been able to attend to several of the activities for 50% of the time which is another HUGE improvement.
Another great improvement as a result of the class is it provides me time with Xander to enjoy and being able to discover new ideas we can do at home which he actually does now. His attention span has improved, along with his speech, relating activities in the class to items at home and providing another opportunity to learn while playing.
The class also provides a space that allows all parents to respect each others parenting style and where there child's current level is at without feeling the pressure of having to all be on the same level. Jamie is very good at verbalizing this and making people feel more comfortable.
Thank you so much for the opportunity." Dana Heinrich, Avon, Indiana
"Minna had her spring program at preschool last Friday. My husband and I sat in the back because we were afraid she might see us and run off the stage. I figured if we got through it without her pulling her dress over her head, running off the stage or rolling around on the floor, we would be doing great. Instead, when the music started, she sang, she danced, she did most of the movements and I know it's all because of Kindermusik and the start you have given her. :-) " Sarah Beckner, Indianapolis, Indiana
